UMMM I can't think of a catchy title

{Insert catchy title here} I'll just jump right in... Its been a few days well, actually 6 days to be exact. Sorry about that. Summers here and things are crazy! My dear husband started a small projects and we are now in day 3 of building a 45 food deck across the back of our house. {SMALL project my foot} here is a pic of the progress. He has my father in law helping out.

More happenings... I made the Frances Meyer design team!!!! I am so excited about this. Each Designer will design a project for the Michael's web site every month. So make sure you go and check them out.

And another note, I entered a contest over at Scrapping with Grace and have been picked as one of the 12 "house guest" to compete in the next round. Here is my layout out for the 1st challenge. We had to use four different items picked by rolling dice. I rolled, chipboard, two different fonts in the title, brads or eyelets and 2 different patter papers. Here's my take....

More Frances Meyer projects

This is a desk set. It includes a stamp jar, paper tray& pen holder. I was going to give it to a friend as a gift but now it has a home on my desk. Oh well I'll have to make her something else. I use the Frances Meyer Outback Traveler's kit for these altered items. I also use their stickers and Rub - on. Now if your looking for a great rub on, look no further! These are the only ones you'll ever want to use. They go on like BUUUTTTTER!

Tres Jolie

What a fabulous paper line by My Minds Eye! I loved working with these papers and embellishments this month! Take a look at the newsletter over at Scrapbook Obsessions to see other Fantastic projects by some very talented ladies on the design team. Here are a few of mine from the newsletter. Hope you enjoy them!

First is a layout all about PINK... the color of choice at my house. How could it be anything else with to girly girls living with me?

Next is my Trash to Treasure item. Each month I do an article titled "Trash to Treasure". Most of my altered items are found at the local thrift store, garage sales, given to me or found for a really great bargain at a retail store. And this month was no exception. I found the flower shaped wooden box at a craft store. It was in the Easter clearance items and marked 90% off. So for only .49 cents I had to snatch it up quickly!

And last but not least here is the Peek-A-Boo Album that I just LOVED working with! This is a must have, with 10 large pages and a pull out page on each of the 10 pages. This album has lots and lots of room for all your photos and journaling!

Coaster Album

This is an album I created using the June Kit from Scrapbook Obsessions. And a few items from some of their past kits. Go and check them out, the July 2007 kit is up and will start shipping next week!
A Boy and A Bike... and some dirt
I started out with two coasters for the front and back covers. I used lots of transparencies. I printed on them, stamped on them and used rub ons on them. I used them as tag accents and as full pages. This was a quick and fun album.
